They are an interdisciplinary co-creative tandem formed by Mar Serinyà Gou (visual artist, performer and researcher) and Jordi Homs (composer and singer) who use visual arts, voice, music and performance in the research of new languages and new forms of communication.
They are united by a passion for the human voice, the body and nature. Jordi has dedicated a large part of his career to researching the relationship between the body and the voice. And Mar in the study and practice of performance and the creative process. Their interest is focused on the dialogue with the natural elements, to channel and explore the current artistic and vital concerns, to find new ways to relate between them and their environment.
Their creations take multiple forms, from vocal performances, performative concerts, video-creations and installations.
Since its founding in 2023, they have won the Beca Agita de l’Ajuntament de Figueres 2023 for the creation of the experimental film BALÈNIC. They have been invited to the art and science conference ENBLUEMENT, organized by the United Nations at the Institut d’Estudis del Mar in Barcelona. They have also been invited to participate in an artistic residency at La Traverse (Paris 2024) linked to sea studies at the Sorbonne University and have performed in different venues and festivals such as La Galerie Imaginérie in Paris (France), Rencontre Sonore Hors Frontière in Cerbère (France) and Casa de Cultura in Girona.
