F/16 Residence is part of the documentary creation’s program of Casa d’Artistes, in collaboration with Menorca Doc Fest. Both projects are organized by Es FAR Cultural.

Es Far Cultural is a non-profit association with the aim of social and cultural dynamization through the values of singularity, identity and heritage. We work to promote contemporary art, society and culture, promoting the exchange of values through the recovery of spaces for reflection and criticism. We do this through the F.A.R axes (Formation, Arts and Research) that are activated by the realization of art and research residence projects or the creation and dissemination of contemporary art and cultural projects (residences, exhibitions, festivals, workshops or through the radio project Ràdio Far).

Casa d’Artistes is a creation space located in the village of Es Mercadal (Menorca), in the middle of a rural and natural environment. The center hosts cultural workers from the field of arts, culture and thought in general, who need space and time to develop research projects or artistic creation.

Menorca Doc Fest is an independent film and documentary film festival in Menorca. This year, the 5th edition was consolidated as a reference date for the cinema and documentary photography of Menorca and the Balearic Islands.
