INTRODUCTION<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>Casa d&#8217;Artistes Creation Centre<\/strong> is a project by FAR Cultural, an association that fosters the exchange of values and reflection through training, research, art and contemporary culture. This call aims to select creators to participate in the 2026 residencies for <strong>visual arts, performance, podcast creation, music and sound art<\/strong>. <strong>Submitted projects may be works-in-progress or new creations. <\/strong><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>1.1. General requirements for participation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creators of legal age may participate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They must be able to provide an official invoice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They must be available for an online interview if requested by the organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each candidate may apply for a maximum of two residencies in different fields, although they will only be eligible for one.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>1.2. General commitments of the creator<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To use the residency for research and\/or creation of the chosen project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To participate in an exhibition of the project in progress within the framework of the residency.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To submit a brief report on the project developed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To comply with the agreed schedule.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authorise Es FAR Cultural to use your image and visual, audiovisual and\/or audio documentation of your artistic work for non-commercial communication and dissemination purposes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To cite the support of Es FAR Cultural in all communication and dissemination activities related to the project developed during the residency and subsequent artistic career.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The decision regarding this call for applications will be officially communicated by email. The creator undertakes to accept or reject this decision within a maximum period of 5 calendar days from the date of communication.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The creator accepts the terms of this call for applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #00b4d3;\">2. 2026 RESIDENCY PROGRAMME<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All selected creators will have access to a workspace and support from the centre&#8217;s staff. Only creators residing outside the island of Menorca will have the following covered:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A return trip from their usual place of residence within Europe. (For sustainability reasons, travel from Barcelona and Mallorca will be by boat).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accommodation at the creation centre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Travel and accommodation extras related to maternity (children under 3 years of age) may be covered.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These benefits are common to all 2026 residency programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2.1. <em>Illes d&#8217;Art<\/em> Residency (visual arts)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Illes d&#8217;Art <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is Casa de Artistas&#8217; embryonic project. Since 2015, nine editions have been held, involving more than 42 artists from across the Balearic Islands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Two visual artists residing in the Balearic Islands will be selected<\/b>, at least one of whom must be a resident of Menorca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Duration of the residency:<\/strong> 20 days, between 2 March and 10 May. The dates will be agreed with the organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fees<\/strong> of \u20ac1,100.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Documentation to be provided<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Artist&#8217;s dossier containing:<\/strong> artistic statement, career history and sample of recent work. (The file must be no more than 10 pages and 10 MB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Project idea to be developed, including:<\/strong> a brief description of the project to be developed, objectives to be achieved during the residency and a letter of motivation. (The file must be no longer than 3 pages, including visual documentation. The maximum file size is 10 MB).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Copy of ID card or certificate of residence.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2.2. <i>Performance residency (performance)<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Performance Residency is a project that forms part of the Performance Days, a programme that combines training, support for creation and the dissemination of action art and performance. This residency is designed for creators who are interested in participating in the training, although this is not compulsory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Two artists will be selected<\/b>. Preference will be given to at least one artist from the Balearic Islands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Duration of the residency:<\/strong> 20 days, between 4 May and 8 June. The dates will be agreed with the organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Training dates: <\/strong>29 and 30 May (details to be confirmed).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fee<\/strong> of \u20ac900.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Documents to be provided:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Artist&#8217;s dossier containing:<\/strong> artistic statement, career history and samples of recent work. (The file must be no more than 10 pages and 10 MB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Project idea to be developed, including:<\/strong> a brief description of the project to be developed, objectives to be achieved during the residency and a letter of motivation. (The file must be no longer than 3 pages, including visual documentation. The maximum file size is 10 MB).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>For artists from the Balearic Islands:<\/strong> a copy of your ID card or certificate of residence.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2.3. <i>Creation of a podcast in Catalan (radio culture)<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grant for the creation of a podcast in Catalan is a proposal linked to R\u00e0dio Far, a collaborative radio station that offers cultural content in Catalan created in Menorca and with an island perspective. The finished podcast will be broadcast on R\u00e0dio Far; the aim is to encourage research and the creation of cultural content in radio format that differs from its usual programming.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One creator will be selected, with creative and communication skills and basic knowledge of audio editing, with the aim of producing a <strong>creative podcast in the Catalan language<\/strong>. <strong>The organisation will propose a cultural theme as a starting point<\/strong>, from which the creator will have to develop a project. The Casa d&#8217;Artistes creation centre and R\u00e0dio Far will offer basic training and support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Duration of the residency:<\/strong> 20 days, between 27 March and 12 May. The dates will be agreed with the organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>The podcast is scheduled to be broadcast in early July 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fee<\/strong> of \u20ac900.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Documents to be provided<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PDF document containing:<\/strong> CV, short letter of motivation and, if available, samples of radio programmes or podcasts in which you have participated. The file must be no more than 3 pages long and 1 MB in size.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2.4. <i>Arts al Nord Residency <\/i>(music and sound art)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <em>Arts al Nord<\/em> <em>Residency<\/em> is part of the<em> Arts al Nord<\/em> performing arts cycle, a small-scale exhibition of performing arts in different cultural and public spaces in northern Menorca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>One artist or collective will be selected<\/strong> who uses sound as a tool for contemporary research and creation, whether in the production of music, experimental music, sound art or any hybridisation of disciplines where sound plays a leading role. The resulting project may also be broadcast on R\u00e0dio Far.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Duration of the residency:<\/strong> 20 days, between 6 and 29 June.
