DAMI\u00c0 ROTGER MIR\u00d3<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]Dami\u00e0 Rotger Mir\u00f3, Ferreries, Menorca, 1981. He has been living in Mallorca for almost twenty years. His life is wrapped up in letters and words. He is a typographer, teacher and poet. He is also the author of \u00abEl pa\u00eds dels rellotges\u00bb, a short story for young people that won the first Francesc d’Albranca Prize, and of the poetry collections \u00abGrams de tu\u00bb (Ed. Menorca, 2015. Second prize Illa de Menorca), \u00abLletrescades\u00bb (Ed. Campgr\u00e0fic, 2016), \u00ab482 mm\u00bb (Ed. Bilib\u00fa, 2018), \u00abAr\u00e8ola\u00bb (Adia Edicions, 2019. Bernat Vidal i Tom\u00e0s Prize 2019), \u00abLlibre d’esvalots\u00bb (Moll publishing house, 2021), \u00abUmbilical\u00bb (Moll publishing house, 2023) and \u00abCalls al gest\u00bb (Vincle publishing house, 2023 Teodor Llorente Prize). His poems have been published in the anthologies \u00abIllanvers\u00bb (2016), \u00abMianorca\u00bb (2016), \u00abLletraferits\u00bb (2017), \u00abVeus Paral\u00b7leles\u00bb (2017), \u00abVersus\u00bb (2019), \u00abIllanvers\u00bb (2021), \u00abBeyond the Language\u00bb (Anglaterra, 2022), \u00abEn clars abismes se’m fa desig\u00bb (Eivissa, 2022), \u00abIllanvers\u00bb (2021) and part of the book \u00abSgt. Pepper’s a trav\u00e9s del espejo\u00bb (T&B Editores, 2017). Together with Marc Fuentes, he has published the punk-poetic fanzines \u00abNedar la fosca\u00bb (2016), \u00abLa carn i l’innombrable\u00bb (2017) and \u00abSuor negra\u00bb (2018). His poems have been translated into Spanish, English, Italian and Polish.<\/span><\/p>\n

His interest in spoken poetry has led him to recite in a multitude of events, presentations, festivals and festivals all over the country and to organize, for some years now, \u2018Lluna de mala lengua\u2019, poetry recitals where verses flood the night in Palma de Mallorca. He is a member for the Balearic Islands of the Associaci\u00f3 d’Escriptors amb Llengua Catalana (AELC), editorial and graphic identity designer of the legendary Balenguera collection at Editorial Moll and, since 2023, typographic advisor to the prestigious publishing house Campgr\u00e0fic.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a typographer, he teaches typographic design, history of typography and editorial projects at EDIB, and is the author of more than a dozen new typeface families, both historical recreations and contemporary formulations. He has won numerous national and international awards and recognitions and his work has been exhibited and published all over the world; Mallorca, Barcelona, America, Madrid, France, China, Rio de Janeiro, Valencia, Germany, etc.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_empty_space]
